Emilia always had running a marathon on her bucket list. After a year’s training, she felt confident and ready.  

On race day she stopped to deal with a cramp in her knee. Then there was a snap. 

As Emilia lay on the ground in agony, one of our ambulance crews rushed to the scene to deliver urgent care and take her to hospital.
