Paramedic roles
As an HCPC-registered paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and effective clinical care to the community by responding to a wide range of situations including medical emergencies, urgent hospital admissions and routine journeys such as inter-hospital transfers on a casual basis. You’ll also provide clinical leadership to our IHCD Technician and EAC grades too, bringing to life your CPD portfolio in relation to mentorship of others. We want to speak with HCPC registered paramedics with 2 years post registration.
IHCD Technician roles
As a qualified IHCD Technician (or equivalent level 4 ambulance qualification), you will provide compassionate, professional and high-quality patient care while responding to both emergency and non-emergency patient transport situations. To provide the best quality care to our patients and uphold our high standards, you will operate within IHCD & JRCALC guidelines as well have the ability to recognise any potential safeguarding issues and report accordingly. You’ll work with all other grades of people and when paired with an EAC will provide support to them to fulfil their role.
Associate Ambulance Practitioner roles
You will be responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency situations where you will assess and treat patients to your trained skill level. You will be responsible for providing high quality, professional and compassionate care for patients and ensuring current clinical practice procedures and requirements are followed. This unique and rewarding opportunity will allow you to train towards a qualification in Emergency Care and support your community and local ambulance services.

Emergency Ambulance Crew roles
Depending on the specific workstreams we operate in your area, your role will differ slightly. In frontline A&E services, you will respond to emergency or non-emergency situations where you will assess and treat patients to your trained skill level. You will be responsible for providing high quality, professional and compassionate care for patients and ensuring current clinical practice procedures and requirements are followed. In our Critical Care Services, you’ll work as part of an embedded team of doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses to provide safe care and transport to neonates, children and adults whilst transferring them between Intensive Care facilities.

- Unsocial hours uplift – we recognise that working out of normal hours adds complexities and so we pay up to 20% uplift on unsocial hours worked in frontline roles.
- Overtime premiums – we offer overtime opportunities to help fund that special purchase or event and we do so with a 20% uplift on your standard pay rates.
