What is an Always St John Tribute?
An Always St John Tribute is a special place for you to honour the memory of your loved one, whilst supporting the work of St John Ambulance.
Together, you and your loved one could help us train and equip the next generation of lifesavers, putting first aid at the heart of every community for years to come.
You can set up an online Tribute page for free. It can be a source of joy and comfort - a dedicated, lasting space where family and friends come together to keep the memories alive by sharing photos and stories. You can also add virtual candles and gifts, and use the online platform to collect donations in your loved one's name.
The Tribute can also be a focal point for positive action, helping you to remember your loved one in a most meaningful way by raising life-saving funds in their name.
If you generously decide to leave an in-memory donation, you will help to ensure that our volunteers can provide more people with the care they need in the moments that matter. And by remembering your loved one in this unique way, you can make sure their story is always a part of ours.
Janet Elliott chose to set up a Tribute to collect donations for St John when her mum, Anne Hawkins, passed away. Janet shared:
It was my mother's wish that St John received a little something when she passed away. My father, Brian, joined St John in Caterham when he was 12 and became a Station Officer. He later joined the Ambulance Service but stayed connected with St John, running first aid courses and supporting the Badgers. He was even awarded the Order of St John.
