The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has published a 2018 reprint of the Health and Safety Law Poster. All employers have a legal duty under the Health and Safety Information for Employees Regulations (HSIER) to display the poster in a prominent position in each workplace.
There is no change to the written content in the 2018 reprinted version, and no legal requirement for owners of the current HSE approved Law Poster to replace it with a new one. The poster tells workers what they and their employers need to do to ensure their health and safety in the workplace, in simple terms using numbered lists of basic points, the poster outlines what employers must do, what workers must do and what to do if there are concerns with health and safety in the workplace.
The 2018 reprint of the law poster includes enhanced security features and is more durable. Features include an image flip hologram with surface relief, optical variable ink, embossed roundel, rounded corners and printed on recyclable PP5 material.
