The St John Ambulance Zentih Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit with Tourni-key is contained in a red bag. A grab handle makes it easy to carry to the casualty and it is marked 'Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit’ for easy identification.
Created by experts in medicine, first aid and counter terrorism policing, Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kits are designed to save lives in traumatic emergencies such as stabbings, road traffic collisions, falls and tragically sometimes, terror attacks.
St John Ambulance PAcT Kits include military-grade wound dressings, tourni-keys, and other vital components. They also contain clear written and visual instructions which make them easy for anyone to use, regardless of their level of training.
St John aims for the PAcT Kits to be publicly accessible in places such as arenas, football stadiums and railway stations - hoping to help increase survival rates in victims of stabbings, terror attacks and other serious incidents.
The work is part of an ongoing partnership between St John Ambulance and citizenAID, working alongside colleagues from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
