Better mental health support in the workplace

The pandemic has had a tumultuous effect on all our lives, which has significantly impacted the nation’s mental health. A survey we carried out recently indicates that 40% of people have considered leaving their job due to mental health issues; and 1 out of 4 people feel their work is contributing negatively to their wellbeing. Results like these, highlight the need for improved mental health first aid provision.

To mark this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, we're equipping people and organisations with the tools to better understand mental health and to help put effective measures in place. Take our mental health quiz to test your knowledge and download our free resources to support the implementation of mental health best practices in your workplace.

We’re also very proud to launch our new FutureQuals Level 2 and Level 3 Mental Health First Aid qualifications, that focus on practical training and real-life scenarios and set a new standard in workplace mental health training.

  Our new mental health qualifications

Since we started running mental health first aid training a few years ago, we’ve been listening to feedback from our customers to understand what both employers and employees need.

We know from decades of experience, both in training others and operating on the frontline ourselves, that quality training gives people the confidence to act quickly and effectively whenever needed. It’s the same for mental health first aid. Our new courses are recognised qualifications that focus on practical training and real-life scenarios.

As these are FutureQuals Level 2 and Level 3 Awards, employers can also be confident that their trained Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health Responders are fully qualified with the very best training.
